Michael W. Adams serves as President of JobsWork MKE, a local workforce development nonprofit, serving Milwaukee since 2013. JobsWork MKE utilizes a proven, holistic-focused approach, to help motivated individuals attain and retain sustainable employment in higher paying jobs.

Rev. Brisco cares about this community and ‘his people.’ He’s also a wise and committed leader who is fearless about speaking the truth and lovingly chastising others, in a biblically based manner, of course!

Canaan Catlett is an associate in Dykema’s Milwaukee office. He focuses his practice on corporate and transactional matters.

A long-time fighter for civil rights and justice for all, Rev. Ellwanger has been with Ezekiel from the beginning … shepherding the organization through the construction of 16 new homes on Galena and Walnut Streets. He continues to find ways to get into ‘good trouble’.

Jim is the ‘brawn’ of Ezekiel. With the same passion as Don, he trains, cajoles and helps shape our trainees into becoming promising and profitable skilled trades people.

Reuben, of course, is Milwaukee’s unofficial Mayor. Reuben ‘ain’t no ways tired, as he continues to serve on the boards of those causes he is passionate about.

Kari Mattek has over 25 years of experience in Technology, most recently as the Sr. Director accountable for HR systems, vendors, and talent management. Kari spent much of her career with senior executives, finding pragmatic solutions for sales, planning, and marketing divisions. Kari has a passion for affordable housing, working alongside local community partners to improve neighborhoods and communities. Recently, Kari spent hours co-creating a dome using aircrete.

Audrey freely lends her financial expertise and professionalism to Ezekiel, allowing her to fulfill her passion to assist low- to moderate income residents build wealth through home ownership. She also brings her business savvy to Ezekiel, helping ensure the organization’s bottom line is in line!

Anne Panter is a lifelong advocate and supporter of education as a primary driver of individual potential and success. She has a 40-year career record of successfully managing and raising support for institutions and nonprofit organizations that promote, advance, and sustain learning opportunities in all environments.  She is a ’78 UWM graduate and was a key member of the University Advancement team for 14 years prior to retirement in 2020. 

Conor Williams serves as an Affiliate Liaison with WISDOM, a subsidiary of Milwaukee InnerCity Congregations Allied for HOPE (MICAH). An economist by training, he is a Stephen Minister, and is currently studying for a Master of Arts in Lutheran Ministries at Luther Seminary, St. Paul, MN to become a Deacon within the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.
